Diana and Ted were married 31st March 1962 in Grays. It even snowed a little!
They moved to a two bedroom bungalow, for which they only paid £900. They didn't have the best start to marriage when the bungalow was broken into and their wedding presents stolen! Diane, in her cleanliness, immediately wiped off dirty marks from the walls, which were actually the robber's finger prints!
